General:

 

All campers are responsible for the actions and behavior of their own, family and guests.

 

Check-in time is 2pm to 7pm, and check-out and cleanup must be completed by 12 noon.

 

Quiet time starts at 11pm. All campers must keep their noise levels to the minimum, and respect other campers.

 

At all times, loud music and any disturbances to other campers are not allowed.

 

Any disorderly conduct, which may include but not limited to profanity, aggressive behavior, criminal offenses, and abuse of campground property will not be tolerated, and will result in eviction without refund. If RCMP escort is required, the campground assumes no responsibility. 

 

Smoking (including Cannabis, e-cigarettes) is permitted only at the assigned site, and must be done very discreetly without disturbing other campers. For the safety of children, smoking around children is prohibited. 

The campground assumes no responsibility whatsoever for personal injury, loss/damage to vehicles or personal property of any kind.

 

The campground reserves all rights to evict any campers who don’t follow the policy and/or management decisions. No refunds will be issued.

 

Assigned Sites:

 

Prices are based on 5 people per site. This applies to both RV and tenting sites. Extra persons must be reported and pay an extra persons fee.

 

Prices are based on 2 cars per site. Any extra cars must pay an extra vehicle fee. If the surrounding sites get too crowded, management may request the cars be parked at the campground’s guest parking.

 

Campers are responsible for their own trash. Do not leave any garbage, and do not burn or place garbage in the firepit. If the site is left untidy, campers will be charged cleaning fees. Please use the garbage bins located near the campground entrance.

 

Do not move the picnic tables, fire pits, and other site arrangements. Report to the office if you need arrangement changes.

 

Excessive water use (washing your RV, vehicles) is strictly forbidden.

 

No electric heaters are allowed inside RVs.

 

Cabins:

 

Campers are responsible for their own trash. Do not leave any garbage in the cabin, and do not burn or place garbage in the firepit. If the cabin is left untidy, campers will be charged cleaning fees. Please use the garbage bins located near the campground entrance.

 

A cabin’s capacity is limited by its bed configurations. Extra persons must be reported and pay an extra persons fee.

 

Do not cook inside the cabin.

 

No heating appliances are allowed inside the cabin.

  

No smoking inside the cabin.

 

On check-out, please lock the doors and return the keys to the office. If checking out outside of office hours, please place them in the keys collection box in front of the office.

 

Campfires:

 

Campfires are only allowed in the assigned fire pit. 

 

Do not place or burn garbage in the fire pit.

 

Please check and follow Nova Scotia’s fire ban guidelines. 

 

All fires must be put out with water for the night.

 

Pools:

 

The swimming pool is unsupervised. Use at your own risk. Parents and guardians are responsible for their child’s safety.

 

Pool hours are from 10am to 8pm.

 

Pool is available from the last week of June to the first week of September.

 

No pets are allowed in the pool.

 

Showers & Laundry:

 

Both the showers and laundry machines are operated by coins.

 

Please clean up after use for others.

 

Roads:

 

The speed limit in all parts of the campground is 10km/h. Drivers must obey all signs posted across the campground. Please check the map for driving directions.

 

Driving personal small vehicles (golf carts, 4-wheelers, motorcycles, etc) within the campground is forbidden, except to leave and enter the campground, and those of management.

 

Pets:

 

Pets must be on a leash and must be under control at all times. 

 

Pets are not to make excessive noise or disturb other persons. 

 

Poop and scoop applies at all times.

 

No pets are allowed inside the cabins. 

 

No pets are allowed in the pool.

 

Campground Reservation Policy

 

When you make an online reservation, you will be charged a fixed non-refundable reservation fee of $10. This fee comes off from the total balance, and you can pay the remainder when you check in. You will get a confirmation email regarding your reservation, and you may cancel/modify online from the link provided in your email. Please read carefully our cancellation policy if you would like to cancel your reservation and avoid any late cancellation charges on your credit card.

 

For some weekends, minimum night restrictions apply to RV sites and cabin reservations. For regular weekends of months of July and August, 2 nights or more is required. For all long weekends, 3 nights or more is required.

 

For long term reservations, we may contact you to further request a partial deposit to guarantee your reservation.

 

If your reservation details don’t meet our requirements, we may cancel your reservation and send you a cancellation email.

 

Campground Cancellation Policy

 

If you would like to cancel the reservation, for reservations of 6 nights or less, you must cancel by 3 days prior to check in. For long weekend reservations and reservations of 7 nights or more, you must cancel by 7 days prior to check in.

 

Please cancel by the specified number of days prior to check in to avoid any late cancellation charges on your credit card. In order to cancel, you may access the online cancellation link sent to your confirmation email, which is available until 3 days prior to check in. If you need to cancel past this window, please contact us for the cancellation.

 

Late cancellation charges will be posted to your credit card as follows. For reservations of 6 nights or less, if you cancel past the 3 days prior to check in, your card will be charged 50% of the total reserved nights. For reservations of 7 nights or more, if you cancel past the 7 days prior to check in, your card will be charged 50%. For all reservations, same day cancellations and no-shows will be charged 100%.
